Welcome! My name is Kelsey Ruble. I am eager to pursue a career in Elementary Education with the Lebanon R-3 School District. I am a lifelong Yellowjacket from attending Lebanon myself, having children who attend, and being currently employed with the district. Becoming a teacher is not a decision I have taken lightly or made on a whim. I have been an Early Childhood Paraprofessional for the Lebanon R-3 School district for the past 5 years and it is here that I discovered my passion for teaching and education. I am excited to be able to teach and help shape students into the people that they will become. I am ready to encourage them, love them, support them, and make them feel safe so that they can make educational gains. While I am excited for the actual academic teaching portion, I would say that I am the most excited about building and modeling the positive relationships with these students that goes along with teaching. I know that being a teacher is about way more than academics alone. I am ready to work with the students who need all of the extra skills before the learning can begin. I will hold my students and myself to high expectations and look forward to helping them reach these expectations and all of their future goals.
